Andersen Tax adopted the Andersen name.

A new entity called Andersen Tax Sàrl debuted in Luxembourg as a member firm of Andersen Global.

ALEGIS in Germany and BA TRUST in Luxembourg, committed to serving as a joint-venture their common clients using a wealth of experience of skills built up by the partners of both companies during decades in their respective countries.

BA TRUST GROUP was formed by Eric Bernard, Bob Faber and Michal Probst, who decided to assemble a complete range of tax, accounting, domiciliation and corporate services in different entities. BA TRUST GROUP is composed of BA TAX Accounting for tax and accounting services and Paddock for the domiciliation and corporate trust services. Both keeping a truly international clientele and using Luxembourg as their investment hub to mainly enter the European private equity and real estate market. Two joint ventures became also part of the group, B.A. Tax-HauckSchuchardt, entirely dedicated to cross-border real-estate investors and finally in November 2015 BA Fiduciaire with a purely locally oriented clientele.

in response to regional requirements, Alegis Sàrl in Luxembourg opened, focusing on the provision of cross-border tax services in the Saarland region.

Frank Brossius, EY Frankfurt, joined the Merzig office of ALEGIS, and Sandra-Erika Behn, PwC Düsseldorf, joined the Düsseldorf team, strengthening the international tax expertise. ALEGIS provides audit and special tax and legal consulting services (e.g. VAT, tax structuring) with individual services exclusively from the partners.

the Alegis office, Merzig opened on the basis of a merger with a local tax advisor, expanding the range of services for tax compliance work. On July 1, 2006 the Alegis office Düsseldorf was opened, providing tax compliance services as well as interim management accounting services for multinational clients with locations in Germany. ALEGIS is an independent, integrated tax, legal and audit firm which provides a wide range of tax, valuation, financial advisory and related consulting services to corporate and individual clients. Based on the past experience of our acting partners with the "Big Four" consulting firms, our aim is to serve our national and international clients with the best practice with a hands-on approach.

ALEGIS was founded on January 1, 2005 by Christoph Freichel, Alessio Rossi, both of whom were previously managers of the "small and medium sized business group" at Deloitte, Düsseldorf. Both started their career at Arthur Andersen GmbH in Düsseldorf.
